The Mount Vernon Embroidered Dogwood Blossom ornament is one of the unique products of St. Nicolas, a British company which has worked with a small Christian charity in Thailand or India for 25 years helping disadvantaged rural women work in their own community by sewing decorations at home.

Many Flowering Dogwood trees bloom each spring at George Washington's Mount Vernon. Dogwood is the official flower of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The white dogwood blossom with pink and green highlights is trimmed in gold embroidery with "Mount Vernon Dogwood" on the back. The ornament with gold cord for hanging is approximately 3 ¼"x 3 ¼".
