The Flamingo is a favorite garden accessory for those who enjoy a sea life theme. For this you need more than one because Flamingos live in a Flock or Colony. Their favorite foods are small fish, shrimp, and algae. They stick their heads in the water grab the food then curl upwards and swallow. Being in shallow water is where they nest. The male and female both work on the nest and cover the hatchling. They feed it a liquid from their stomach. When old enough the hatchling will go out amongst the others to learn how to eat. The parents find their own kid by voice.  That is funny that is how I recognize my kids too!
